WHAT TO EXPECT
-
There may be erythema, smelling and increased skin sensitivity.

The skin may appear red and blotchy.
-
Needling is not completely painless although a numbing cream will be applied there will still be minimal pain.

Spot bleeding is expected and completely normal.

The skin may feel as though it's throbbing immediately after treatment
-
The skin will feel dull, flaky, dry and tight for up to a week after the treatment, this is completely normal.
PRE-CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Avoid using exfoliating products the night before or morning after the treatment.

Ensure you have no important events scheduled straight after the treatment as there will be a downtime of 48 hours.

Arrive to your appointment with no makeup on.
AFTERCARE
-
Avoid heat treatments such as saunas and steam rooms for at least 72 hours post treatment.

Avoid sun exposure for at least 48 hours.

Ensure you apply a SPF 50 after the 48-hour period at all times to prevent hyperpigmentation.

Avoid wearing makeup for up to 72 hours post treatment.

Avoid intense exercise for 72 hours post treatment.

Apply Vaseline or Aquaphor onto the skin the night of the treatment and the following morning.

Avoid using any skincare products for up to 48 hours after the treatment.

Avoid using any exfoliants for 2 weeks after the treatment.

Avoid touching the skin for up to 48 hours after the treatment.

Avoid any method of facial hair removal for 5 days after the treatment.

Avoid any other facial treatments for up to 4 weeks after the treatment.

Avoid use of subbed or sunbathing for at least 2 weeks after the treatment.

Avoid swimming in chlorinated water for at least 14 days.
-
Avoid laser treatments for a minimum of 10 days after the treatment.
